Sending A Review
NOTE: Please read EVERYTHING below before sending a review. Anything sent without enough info or incorrect info will most likely be ignored. After you have sent one, check back anywhere from 1-3 days to see if it has been posted. We try to notify every contributor, but sometimes we can't get around to it. Below is everything required for a good review, in the order we prefer it be sent. If you would like to see an example of this information, just read one of our concert reviews.
1. CONCERT INFO - Includes which Beach Boys ensemble it was, the date, the venue, the city/state/country, and the time it began. Ensembles include: The Beach Boys (1961-1998), The Beach Boys Band (1998-Present), Brian Wilson (1976, 1985, 1999-Present), or Al Jardine Family And Friends/Al Jardine's All Star Beach Band (1998-Present).
2. BEACH BOYS PRESENT - List of all the official Beach Boys that were present at the concert. Official Beach Boys include: Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine (1961, 1964-Present), Bruce Johnston (1965-1972, 1978-Present), Carl Wilson (1961-1998), Dennis Wilson (1961-1983), or David Marks (1962-1964, 1998-1999).
3. BACKING BAND - List of all the members of the backing band that played with them, if there was one. Examples: Ed Carter, Bobby Figueroa, Jeffrey Foskett, Scott Totten, Mike Kowalski, Taylor Mills, etc.
4. REVIEW - Your own personal story and opinion about the concert. Can be as short or as long as you like, but be considerate that these take lots of time to convert to HTML.
5. STARS - A rating of the overall performance of this concert, in stars. 1=Worst, 5=Best.
6. SET LIST - The exact list, in order, of all the songs played. Compromises can be made for this section.
7. PHOTOS - Let us know if you have photos of this event.
8. CONTRIBUTOR - Your name and e-mail address are needed for any of this to go through. If you wish to remain anonymous, just name yourself "Anonymous". We still MUST HAVE your e-mail address, though, for our records. Just state if you don't want it published on the review.
